from a base on the Zambezi River in Zambia. Safari
experiences are then enjoyed first in Botswana's
Chobe National Park and then in the Okavango Delta.

Honeymoon Itinerary
Day
1-3: Victoria Falls
Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International
in Johannesburg, from where they will be assisted
with their transfer onto a flight bound for LIvingstone.
Guests will be met at Livingstone Airport and will
be transferred to the River Club Lodge situated
on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Here
guests can enjoy luxury that reminds one of King
Edward in a very tranquill setting away from crowds.
Three nights are spent in this beautiful and secluded
lodge where guests can get in touch with the wilds
of Africa on game drives, nature trails, boat cruises
and island walks. Visit Victoria Falls, one of the
greatest sights ever seen, or take a boat ride to
the Zambezi Island, for a relaxed afternoon and
sundowners, while watching the breathtaking sunset.
The luxury thatched chalets are completely open-fronted,
making for stunning views of the mighty Zambezi
below. All the Chalets are appart from each other,
ensuring absolute privacy. All chalets has a four
poster bed and sunken bath tub, that adds to the
romance of the rooms. As the location is situated
opposite Zimbabwe’s Zambezi National Park - hippos,
elephants and various forms of bird life can be
seen (and heard) going about their daily business.
The Chalets are split levelled with a small balcony
onto the room, with breathtaking views of the river
and surroundng areas

Day
4-6: Chobe
The honeymooners, enjoy a hearty breakfast served
outside on the veranda after which they will be
transferred to the Chobe National Park in Botswana.
The transfer is approximately one and a half hours.
Home
for the next three nights is the Chobe Chilwero
Lodge, a luxurious lodge with breathtaking views
of the Chobe River, and awe inspiring viatas as
a backdrop. On each day, two game activities are
included. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The game activities are led by an experienced resident
ranger. The game activities will alternate between
open 4X4 game drives in the Chobe National Park
and game viewing from a boat on the Chobe River.
Enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets ever
displayed by Mother Nature as only Botswana can
offer. The Lodge is situated above the river and
offers amazing panoramic views of the surrounds.
The split level, free form swimming pool, creates
the feeling of a natural waterfall. Romantic high
tea is served on the lawns and sumptuous meals lovingly
prepared by the lodge's expert culinary staff -
a delicious, eclectic fusion of Western and African
cuisine and delicacies .

Day
7-9: Okavango Delta
After breakfast, honeymooners fly from a local airstrip
to the Eagle Island set in the heart of the Okavango
Delta. The Eagle Island Camp is in a little piece
of paradise secluded and hidden from the world.
It is situated on the island of Xaxaba and surrounded
by Illala Palms. The camp overlooks a surrounding
lagoon fed by the tranquil waterways of the delta.
Here honeymooners will enjoy, exceptionally high
quality wildlife viewing with prolific bird life
and mammal sightings. It is also the site of one
of the most romantic bars in the world, the Fish
Eagle Bar, where game viewing can be enjoyed while
dining. The camp offers a cool retreat from the
African sun and is shaded by a canopy of indigenous
trees.
Guests
spend three nights at Eagle Island Camp on a full
board basis. Two game activities are conducted daily
by experienced rangers and trackers. These alternate
between land based and water based game viewing.

Day
10: Departure
A last morning game activity is followed by breakfast
after which guests board a light charter to Maun
and from there an onward flight to Johannesburg.
Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International
in Johannesburg. From here guests are transferred
to any location of their choice in either Johannesburg
or Pretoria or are assisted with check in to a flight
back to their country of origin after a memorable
African Honeymoon Safari.
